obligatory hello, world

"Hello, world" and welcome to my blog.

Thanks to my wandering mind, there should be a good variety of topics covered in these posts. That being said, at the time of writing this, one can expect some thoughts on the following subjects:

• aviation human factors and system safety
• human spaceflight
• volcanos and geology of the PNW
• outdoorsy stuff
• art, and other tinkering projects
• sudoku

We will see how much I ultimately write on these topics, but I remain optimistic. Either way, it's honestly just been fun to setup this little site.
